WHAT WE DO
Reformed Foundation is a CIC and peer mentoring organisation, providing young people from disadvantaged and criminal backgrounds with opportunities to learn new skills, work on projects on the UK and abroad, and receive free mentoring support without feeling they are charity cases.
This programme is designed to give those at risk of offending a wakeup call whilst instilling a more moral sense of judgment.
We encourage young people to take responsibility for themselves and helping them build a life and make the right choice.
Mentoring as a Career
Our mentors are highly trained and experienced in supporting offenders with the issues that many of them face, and struggle with on a daily basis.
In 2015 Reformed Foundation was contacted by HMP Belmarsh to create and facilitate strategies to tackle their rising gang feuds between the inmates. Together with the prison staff and a choice of eight ‘high profile’ specially selected inmates, we decided to develop a mentorship and mediation program.
